Enrolling in a Program?
The WRC offers three ways to register; online, by phone if paying by credit card @ 620-326-3323 or stop by
the WRC main office at 202 S. Jefferson, M-F, 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

sign up policy
Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis. Many programs have a limit on the number of participants. Once a program has filled, you may request to be put on a waiting list. After the program has begun, a late charge will be assessed where applicable.
registration deadlines
Registration deadlines are established to give a date by which you should be registered. however, registration deadlines may be extended. If you missed the deadline, please call 326-3323 for possible deadline extensions or enrolling with a late fee assessed.
refunds
In the case where equipment or uniforms have been ordered for registration, the cost of the equipment or uniforms will not be refunded. A complete refund will be given if the class is canceled by the WRC. No refund will be given if persons fail to request a refund prior to the start of the class. When a refund is issued, a $3.00 service charge will be assessed.
program scholarships
The WRC provides program scholarships for families with children 18 years and younger, in need to due to economic hardship. The scholarship policy reduces certain fees and charges on WRC programs. Applicants for scholarships are not guaranteed program registration as there is a limited amount of funding is available for this purpose. All requests remain confidential. Please inquire about the scholarships at the WRC main office. All forms should be completed and submitted at least five days prior to registering.

Due to lack of proper supervision, children are not allowed to attend adult classes with their parents.
Make-ups
If a program meeting is missed because of reasons beyond the control of the WRC, it will not be made up. If an individual misses a program meeting, he or she may not make up the missed class by attending a similar meeting at a different time.
rainy day procedure (sports)
The Sports Director will make the decision to hold evening games if the weather conditions are questionable. If conditions warrant cancellation of the program/game, coaches will be contacted, who will in turn let their team members know the decision. The information will also appear on Text Caster and the Wellington Recreation Facebook Page.

The WRC reserves the right to cancel any program due to low enrollments, etc. Registered participants will receive appropriate refunds.

Photo and video disclaimer
The Wellington Recreation Commission and all of its affiliates reserve the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored or hosted by WRC, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. WRC may use the photograph/video in internal and external publications or materials produced, used, or contracted by WRC including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, newsletters, magazines, websites, etc. A person attending a WRC event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers.
